| Business Operations Support Center (BOSC) | Customer Service Center Jaycee De Guzman | FS Customer Service Center (CSC) is the point of contact between internal and external units that supports the UC community. We ensure data quality for accurate reporting. We are dedicated to providing the most effective and efficient customer service in support of the core education and research, along with the vision and mission of UCSF. | As the liaison between customers and FS work groups, CSC handles customer inquiries, process service requests into work orders, provide quality assurance, assess billing accuracy, and ad-hoc reporting. We also provide first level Maximo assistance, work unit support, and is the primary point of contact for dispatching facilities emergencies. As well as providing 24-hour back up on-call support for dispatching. Our Team manages all service level agreements, radio app Zello, and freezer rental programs. |
Support Center Xayaseth Boudsady | Support Center provides functional support to Facilities Services through the change configuration management of it's primary business system, IBM Maximo; with a secondary function to develop new product & services, aimed at enhancing the entire FS organization. | Delivering core services in Building Onboarding; PM Program Management, Maximo Systems Administrations, IT Asset Management, and COE Program Support. Partnering with COE Programs to collaborate and develop high value products & service. |
Planning & Scheduling Melanie Woods | To build a proactive and sustainable process to plan and schedule for the Trades (including ACSS and FLS). | Operation, maintenance, repair and project support across the UCSF Campus. |
Inventory Warehouse Joe Huang | The Inventory Warehouse function as an internal storehouse for Facilities to stock parts for maintenance and repair for both West and East Campus. | Maintain adequate level of stock and make sure all critical and emergency parts are always available. Assist in the order processing of non-stock so Facilities have more wrench time to focus on maintenance and repair throughout the campuses. |

| Emergency Preparedness | Kate Shimshock | The goal of the Emergency Preparedness Program for Facilities Services is to ensure that our staff have the proper support to work in a safe environment and be prepared for any emergency that may arise. | To provide training and resources for Facilities Services staff to support UCSF Campus during an emergency. |
| Fire & Life Safety | Rudy Gomez | The program ensures that fire alarm & life safety systems are operational, maintained, tested, and inspected per NFPA codes & regulatory requirements. The program operates under the regulatory oversight of the Lead DCFM with the Title 24 & 19 providing regular operational oversight and support. FLS team provide 24x7x365 support and service. | Provide expertise and value-added services by manufacture certified technicians. Including Design, Installation, Programming, Testing, Maintenance, Repair, and Inspection of Life Safety Systems as required. Maintain records per applicable codes for UCSF campus buildings and Parnassus Health center buildings. |
| Housing Facilities Services | Jessica Price | Housing Services at UC San Francisco provides housing and related services to students, postdocs, residents, clinical fellows, and faculty. We aspire to be the housing destination of choice for eligible UCSF affiliates. We offer a variety of well-maintained residential properties that are currently priced below the market rate. | Housing Services is a separate department from Facilities Services, but our partnership is critical to our success. Housing's priorities are 1) Safety, 2) Habitability, 3) Desirability. Meeting tenant demand, our operations are 24/7/365.
