Access Controls & Security Systems (ACSS)	Locksmith Paris Reed Security David Roman	To bring innovative security standards to UCSF. The Access Controls & Security Systems team exists to provide onsite security services to all programs in the UCSF community.	To ensure that as UCSF expands and grows, all of our current and future buildings are held to defined security standards. These standards ensure the safety and security of our patients, visitors, students, and staff at UCSF.
Building Maintenance	Trades Bryon Thomas	Provide safe, timely, and quality Operation and Maintenance to minimize down time for campus research, education, and auxiliary programs.	Operate, maintain, and repair West Campus infrastructure in support of Facilities Services. Trades include Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Building Maintenance Workers (BMW), HVAC & Refrigeration.
Building Maintenance	Engineering Operations Skyler Everitts	Provide safe, timely, and quality Operation and Maintenance to minimize down time for campus research, education, and auxiliary programs.	UCSF Campuses - East, West and Fresno - operate, maintain and repair infrastructure in support of Facilities Services.
Business Operations Support Center (BOSC)	Customer Service Center Jaycee De Guzman	FS Customer Service Center (CSC) is the point of contact between internal and external units that supports the UC community. We ensure data quality for accurate reporting. We are dedicated to providing the most effective and efficient customer service in support of the core education and research, along with the vision and mission of UCSF.	As the liaison between customers and FS work groups, CSC handles customer inquiries, process service requests into work orders, provide quality assurance, assess billing accuracy, and ad-hoc reporting. We also provide first level Maximo assistance, work unit support, and is the primary point of contact for dispatching facilities emergencies. As well as providing 24-hour back up on-call support for dispatching. Our Team manages all service level agreements, radio app Zello, and freezer rental programs.
	Support Center Xayaseth Boudsady	Support Center provides functional support to Facilities Services through the change configuration management of it's primary business system, IBM Maximo; with a secondary function to develop new product & services, aimed at enhancing the entire FS organization.	Delivering core services in Building Onboarding; PM Program Management, Maximo Systems Administrations, IT Asset Management, and COE Program Support. Partnering with COE Programs to collaborate and develop high value products & service.
	Planning & Scheduling Melanie Woods	To build a proactive and sustainable process to plan and schedule for the Trades (including ACSS and FLS).	Operation, maintenance, repair and project support across the UCSF Campus.
	Inventory Warehouse Joe Huang	The Inventory Warehouse function as an internal storehouse for Facilities to stock parts for maintenance and repair for both West and East Campus.	Maintain adequate level of stock and make sure all critical and emergency parts are always available. Assist in the order processing of non-stock so Facilities have more wrench time to focus on maintenance and repair throughout the campuses.
Elevator Operations	Jason Dong	To provide a safe and reliable vertical transportation environment for UCSF campuses and Medical Center at Parnassus.	To operate, repair and inspect all systems under State Elevator code requirements at Parnassus (Campus and Med Center), Mission Bay Campus, Laurel Heights Building, Mission Center Building, Buchanan Dental, Mt. Zion Cancer Research Building, 2420 Sutter Parking.
Emergency Preparedness	Kate Shimshock	The goal of the Emergency Preparedness Program for Facilities Services is to ensure that our staff have the proper support to work in a safe environment and be prepared for any emergency that may arise.	To provide training and resources for Facilities Services staff to support UCSF Campus during an emergency.
Fire & Life Safety	Rudy Gomez	The program ensures that fire alarm & life safety systems are operational, maintained, tested, and inspected per NFPA codes & regulatory requirements. The program operates under the regulatory oversight of the Lead DCFM with the Title 24 & 19 providing regular operational oversight and support. FLS team provide 24x7x365 support and service.	Provide expertise and value-added services by manufacture certified technicians. Including Design, Installation, Programming, Testing, Maintenance, Repair, and Inspection of Life Safety Systems as required. Maintain records per applicable codes for UCSF campus buildings and Parnassus Health center buildings.
Housing Facilities Services	Jessica Price	Housing Services at UC San Francisco provides housing and related services to students, postdocs, residents, clinical fellows, and faculty. We aspire to be the housing destination of choice for eligible UCSF affiliates. We offer a variety of well-maintained residential properties that are currently priced below the market rate.	Housing Services is a separate department from Facilities Services, but our partnership is critical to our success. Housing's priorities are 1) Safety, 2) Habitability, 3) Desirability. Meeting tenant demand, our operations are 24/7/365. East Zone: Mission Bay Housing and The Tidelands West Zone: Aldea San Miguel, Avenues Houses, and Mount Zion Housing

Facilities Investment Needs (FIN)	Dan Rorvik	To bring innovative security standards to UCSF. The Access Controls & Security Systems team exists to provide onsite security services to all programs in the UCSF community.	To ensure that as UCSF expands and grows, all of our current and future buildings are held to defined security standards. These standards ensure the safety and security of our patients, visitors, students, and staff at UCSF.
Building Renewal	Melissa Cherry	To evaluate campus building at the 15- & 25-year marks. Identify and address infrastructure concerns including MEP, architectural, building systems, and even capital improvements where necessary; to extend the useful life of a building by addressing infrastructure and system concerns.	The Renewal program addresses infrastructure and building systems that have reached the end of their useful life (EOL). Some systems need to be renewed sooner than other (paint, tile, fixtures), while others address more extensive systems and capital.
Tenant Improvements (TI)	Janie Pena	The program improves the overall look, feel, function, and safety of the campus through customized alterations.	Provide project delivery services to camps tenants (customer-funded work) by partnering with contractors, designers, and other UCSF departments (BPS, DCFM, EH&S, etc.).

Engineering & Utilities

Building Controls	James Comte	We take a performance-based approach to building control and integration of MEP systems, helping to advance UCSF’s carbon neutrality and research missions.	Across East and West Campus, we repair and maintain operational technology that includes HVAC, lighting, and power monitoring controls. We also act as subject matter experts to support construction. We provide valuable tools used for active monitoring and historical data visualization to the following UCSF community teams: Stationary Engineers and Trades, Energy Team, LARC / Animal Care, EH&S
Commissioning	James Comte	Our mission is to execute a quality-based program that transitions building systems into operation by verifying that acceptance and performance criteria are met. We are stewards that deploy technical resources to improve and sustain building system.	Across East and West Campus, we manage the commissioning process and implement quality-based programming to ensure UCSF's building perform to highest standards possible.
Energy & Water	Benjamin Levie	Meet UCSF energy efficiency, water, and carbon reduction goals and reduce overall fuel, electric, and water costs to benefit FS budget.	Integrate and interface with all other relevant programs, especially Sustainability, FIN, Renewal, Commissioning and Controls, Engineering, and Housing. Main points of contact are joint projects, energy reporting requirements, utility billing, metering, and UCOP goals.
Central Utilities Plant (CUP)	David Burrill	To generate and deliver safe, reliable, and efficient utilities to the Parnassus Campus Stakeholders to allow the Campus community to work toward furthering the progress of the UCSF mission without interruption of critical utilities that are vital to that mission.	Operate and maintain the Central Utilities Plant and the 15 miles of utilities distribution systems up to the campus building points of connection with a focus on safety, environmental compliance, reliability and efficiency. Provide operational support and utility expertise to Real Estate and Facilities groups for maintenance activities and projects that tie into or affect existing utilities systems on the Parnassus Campus to ensure minimum impact evolutions and seamless integration of new utility connections for customers. Accurately meter campus utilities and provide support for the monthly utilities recharge program for all campus customers.
Professional Engineering Services	Solomon Degu	Provide professional engineering services in building and maintaining highest quality research and educational facilities in support of UCSF mission advancing health worldwide.	Perform MEP engineering peer review for new buildings and retrofit projects. Perform in-house engineering design. Evaluate required installations, modifications, system overhaul, and replacement of MEP systems. Provide consulting services to other FS Units and other Departments in UCSF
