Program Overview and Mission Statement
Facilities Research Support Services is dedicated to comprehensively supporting lab equipment and space through strategic service lines aimed at risk mitigation, research resiliency, and streamlined costs. Key service lines include remote temperature monitoring sensors for ULT freezers, seismic bracing of lab equipment, preventative maintenance and service agreements for autoclaves and biosafety cabinets in BSL3 (high contaminant) labs; freezer rentals; service contract consolidation, and special projects.
The program supports UCSF’s core mission of research, teaching, learning and includes all Campus research facilities at Mission Bay, Parnassus, Mount Zion, Pride Hall, Hunters Point, Oyster Point, and outlying areas.
