Uber Commute Shuttles
UCSF partnered with Uber for access to premium shuttle services on Uber’s Commute Shuttles. UCSF employees commuting to Mission Bay can purchase a monthly subscription to access ten routes, from within San Francisco, East Bay, North Bay, and South Bay, with rides available during morning and evening commute hours.

Vanpool
The UCSF vanpool program is designed to provide a convenient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly transportation option for UCSF employees and students.
There are existing vanpools looking for more riders, plus vanpools from various areas, such as Oakland and Antioch, that are forming and are looking for new riders.

Carpool
Sharing a ride with someone who is going the same way as you are is a fantastic option with many benefits. They include:

Biking
UCSF campuses are located in bike-friendly locations. On campus, you'll find secure bike parking, plus all UCSF shuttles are equipped with bike racks. You will also find BayWheels bikeshare stations nearby. There are discount programs for e-bikes and groups to build community around the joy, health, and flexibility of pedaling.

Mission Bay TMA Shuttle provides mobility to, from, and within the Mission Bay development area. Take it from the Embarcadero, the Transbay Terminal, and other popular locations to get to the Mission Bay campus.

UCSF On-Demand Shuttle
The UCSF on-demand shuttle travels within 1/2 mile of UCSF Mission Bay and now picks up from the Caltrain stop at 22nd St. Station. Request a ride via the TripShot app or by calling 415-476-4646.

Emergency Ride Home
Know that you’ll never be stuck if an emergency arises. This program reimburses up to $50 of your commute costs for emergency rides home for those who traveled to work via transit, vanpools, or other sustainable commute modes.
