Complimentary Welcome Workout
New members receive a complimentary workout with a certified personal trainer or pilates instructor. This free session is the perfect opportunity to be introduced to the fitness center, learn how to use the equipment and jumpstart your fitness goals. Our trainers and instructors are well versed in all areas of health and fitness and will work with you on a program that fits your needs.
What to expect - At the beginning of the session, your trainer will discuss your health history, fitness goals, and previous workout experience to design a plan for you. During the session, you will learn proper exercise techniques and experience the benefits of an individualized program.

Pilates Reformer Plus
- Bare feet recommended when working on the equipment. Socks are permitted but can increase the risk of slipping.
- Wear comfortable exercise clothing that is not baggy.
- Keep belongings in studio cubbies or day lockers, located in the locker rooms.
Pilates Private and Partner Training
- Pilates Private/Semi-Private sessions expire 90 days from the date of purchase.
- Pilates Private/Semi-Private sessions are not refundable.
- Sessions are to be paid directly to the UCSF Fitness & Recreation Centers.
- Your signature is required on your Pilates contract to verify a session was provided on the date redeemed.
- Your Pilates training session begins at the scheduled time. Latecomers will receive the remaining amount of time scheduled in the session
- Cancellations of scheduled sessions require 24 hours notification in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours will be forfeited.
- Non-member Pilates private clients must present a guest pass for each visit.
- Anyone not satisfied with a scheduled instructor may request a different instructor by contacting the Fitness Manager or Assistant Fitness Manager.
- A doctor’s clearance may be required at the manager or instructor’s discretion.
Reservations
Members
To sign up for a Pilates class, you must have an e-mail address on file with Member Services. If you have an e-mail address on file, follow these instructions to retrieve your temporary username and password.
- Visit clscsionline.ucsf.edu
- Click the Login link on the upper right of the Pilates Drop-in screen.
- Select “Forgot your username/password?” and you will receive a temporary username and password by e-mail.
- Follow the instructions in the e-mail.
- To sign up for a class, download our mobile app or log in at clscsionline.ucsf.edu or at checkout.
Non-Members
If you are not a member, you may create a guest account to sign up for classes and review your reservations. Please note that this does NOT grant facility access or enroll you in a fitness center membership.
- Visit clscsionline.ucsf.edu.
- Click the Become a Guest button and provide the necessary information.
- You will receive a temporary username and password by e-mail.
- Follow the instructions in the e-mail.
- When logged in, select Account Information.
- To check your current reservations, log in, click on Login, click on Account Information, and then click on Reservation Report.
Cancellations
Cancel reservations under Reservation Report. No shows and cancellations with less than 12-hours notice will be charged for the class.
