The Lactation Accommodation Program offers FDA approved mulit-user Ameda Elite pumps that have been retired from employee lactation rooms. These pumps are still in good working condition and are available for employees and students who need them for lactation purposes.
Please keep in mind that UCSF lactation rooms already include multi-user pumps, so this lending program is specifically intended for temporary lactation rooms, personal offices, or home use.
To make the best use of these functioning pumps, we have created a lending program where employees can borrow a pump for a 3-month period, with the option to extend the loan for up to 6-months or longer based on availability. Extensions are subject to other employees’ needs for the pumps, and we ask that borrowers return the pumps promptly when no longer needed.
Please note: This is the first time we are offering a pump lending program, and as we continue to refine the process, adjustments may be made to better meet the needs of our employees.
