Support for Biosafety Laboratory 3s
The Facilities Research Support Services Program provides consolidated service agreements for autoclaves and biosafety cabinets in Biosafety Laboratory 3s. Working with Environmental Health & Safety and the High Contaminant Committee, the program has also established a Standard Operating Procedure for seismic bracing in active BSL3 laboratories.
New Facility Model
Beginning with the opening of the Weill Neurosciences Building in 2021, the Program has established a new facility model to include centralized tank farm ordering and consolidated service agreements for autoclaves and biosafety cabinets.
Freezer Rentals
Facilities Services currently offers freezer rentals on the Parnassus campus in addition to a Mission Bay pilot program at Genentech Hall and Byers Hall.
