UCSF Facilities Services is renovating the UCSF Library building exterior to protect it against water intrusion, as well as upgrade the guard rail system on all terraces. At the same time, they are building a climate-controlled rare books storage where cherished books–some as old as 1477–will be kept safe from fire or water damage.
Projects are expected to be completed in spring 2025.
