Catering
Almost as important as the agenda you plan is the menu you serve. From croissants and coffee to full-course dinners, finding the ideal menu for your event is a priority. Although we do not have in-house catering, our team can recommend the best caterers for the perfect menu for your event.
In support of our mission and our commitment to the health and well-being of our faculty, staff, students, patients, and visitors, UCSF promotes healthier beverage options. Caterers must adhere to the Healthy Beverage Initiative.
UCSF only sells zero-calorie beverages or non-sweetened drinks with nutritional value, such as milk and 100% juice in its onsite eateries, including cafeterias, vending machines and retail locations.

Alcohol: We welcome the inclusion of beer, wine, and champagne at your event. All alcohol must be served by a pre-approved licensed caterer. Please note, hard liquor is not permitted on any UCSF campus.
Audio Visual Support
To get started, let us know what your AV and technology support needs are. Our preferred vendor for AV support is Fog City Audio Visual. Their team is very familiar with our venues and can provide excellent technical support for your event.
If you have your own AV team that you prefer to use, please connect with our Conference Services team. When bringing your own team, we may request that you bring all your technology in and do not use any of the in-house systems.

Please note routers are not allowed on our networks.
Location, Location, Location
Located in the vibrant Mission Bay neighborhood, the Mission Bay Conference Center is surrounded by highly rated hotels, a variety of restaurants, and expansive park-like settings. Several transportation hubs are also in the area connecting you to downtown and the rest of the Bay Area.
Parking and Transportation
For our non-UCSF customers, we require a Certificate of Insurance. If you need to purchase insurance for your event, you may do so through UCSF's Risk Management webpage.
