Student parking at Parnassus Heights is discontinued, returning to pre-COVID-19 practice.
Parking is limited at other UCSF locations. To purchase student parking, follow the directions below:
- To access the student rates via PayByPhone,submit the Student Verification Smartsheet Form to confirm eligibility (required).
- Visit PayByPhone (download the app for the best mobile experience).
- Enter the UCSF Student Parking Rates location number: 401622.
- Select “Months” or “Days” from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the parking duration (1 month or 1 day).
- Click “Continue” to complete the credit card payment.
With the PayByPhone app, Students will no longer be required to display their permit on their vehicle’s dashboard. Please pay upon arrival at the parking facility to avoid a parking citation and be prepared to show your PayByPhone parking reservation along with your Student ID to the attendant when exiting one of our gated parking garages.
Students who need to register an alternate vehicle should contact the Transportation Department at Transportation@ucsf.edu at least two days prior to parking a different vehicle.

Students are eligible for discounted rates (50% off) for daily and monthly parking. Current student rates are indicated below:
- Student Daily Max Parking Rate - $13 per day
- Student Monthly Parking Rate - $166 per month

1. Who is eligible for the $7 rate?
All customers that have a valid Disabled Person Parking Placard issued by the DMV.

3. Can I park in an ADA space? What if all ADA spaces are already occupied?
You can park in any available parking space. You are not required to park in an ADA space to take advantage of the $7 ADA parking rate.
4. What if I have a short-term need and don't have an ADA placard? Who do I contact?

5. What if I didn’t have my Disabled Person Parking Placard on the day I parked at UCSF?
To qualify for the $7 ADA rate, you must have your placard in the vehicle with you when you park at a UCSF facility. We are not able to issue refunds.
