How to Sign Up
- Go to www.login.commuterbenefits.com and click on ‘Sign Up Now’.
- Enter the UCSF Company ID: 1550
- Enter your name
- Enter your zip code
- Confirm your username, create a password, and click ‘Next’.
- You are now registered! Edenred will mail you a debit MasterCard that you can use to make your transit and parking purchases with the pre-tax dollars you set aside each month.
- Login to your commuter benefits account, click on ‘Account’ to update your mailing address.
- Next, click on ‘Place an Order’ to choose the amount you want to be deducted each month pre-tax from your paycheck for your commute expenses.
- NOTE: According to IRS Regulations, UCSF is not allowed to refund the balance of the card to cash. We recommend monitoring your usage to avoid accumulating a large balance.

How to Make Your Elections

- Transit Account -- pays for public transit (Muni, BART, Caltrain, ferry, etc.), and rideshare (carpool, vanpool, UberX Share and Lyft's Shared).
Parking Account -- pays for parking permits, and parking garages and meter fees.
A Note to New Employees
Please note it may take up to 6-8 weeks from your hire date for Edenred to recognize you as eligible to register in the system.
