How it works
Zipcar is a car-sharing program that provides an alternative to owning a car. Access a car when you need one, choose from a variety of vehicles to drive, and pay by the hour or day.
Join online. Once you’re approved, you get your very own Zipcard. Reserve a car online or via the mobile app. Walk to the car on the UCSF campus, and hold your Zipcard to the windshield and the doors unlock. Drive away and return the Zipcar to the same reserved parking spot at the end of your reservation.
