Hours: Monday-Sunday, 24/7
Cost: $99/month
Connection to Campus: You have a few options to get from 5th and Mission Garage to Mission Bay and ZSFG.
- Public transit: Take the T-train to Mission Bay or the 9R bus to ZSFG. Both come every 10 minutes and take a total of 25 minutes to get from the garage to campus.
- Lyft vouchers: Vouchers will be provided to get you from the garage to campus during weekday morning and evening commute times, while future shuttle service is being considered.

FAQs
How long does it take after signing up to get access to the lot?
After submitting your information through the SmartSheet form above, agreeing to the terms, and completing payment, UCSF Transportation will forward your details to the 5th and Mission garage team. You can expect to receive your mobile QR code within 3 business days, which you’ll use to access the garage from your phone.
How do I pay for parking?
Please sign up using the form above. The form contains more information about making your payment in Touchnet. If you are a returning parker, you can pay for your next month of parking by visiting Touchnet here.
Can I use pre-tax commuter benefits?

How do I access the lot?
Once your sign-up is processed, you’ll receive a QR access code directly from the garage operator via email within 2–3 business days. You’ll use this code on your phone to enter and exit the facility.
The garage has entrances on both Mission Street and Minna Street. For evening, overnight, or weekend access, please use the Mission Street entrance.

What if I need to cancel my parking?
We kindly ask that you submit your cancellation request by the 6th of the month to cancel your parking at the end of that month. To cancel, please fill out this form or email park.ride@ucsf.edu.
Can I skip a month of parking if I do not need it and then rejoin?
There is no option to place your parking on hold. If you don’t need parking for a month, you’ll need to cancel your enrollment. When you’re ready to return, you can sign up again through the standard process, but you may incur a reactivation fee required by the garage.
Where in the garage can I park?
You may park anywhere in the garage except in designated spots. These reserved spaces are clearly marked with signage and are typically located on the ground floor and Level 6.
Are there elevators in the garage?
Yes.
Are ADA spaces available?
Yes, ADA parking spaces are available on each floor, typically located near the elevators for convenience.
Is there motorcycle parking?
Yes. You can enter the garage from Minna Street to access motorcycle parking on the ground floor for $10/day.
Is there EV charging?
Yes. You can access EV chargers on the basement and ground floor. Charging cars must be moved after 4 hours.
Who can I contact if I have any issues?
Each QR code scanner at the Mission Street and Minna Street entrances/exits has a Call button you can press for immediate assistance. Help is just a button away if you experience any access issues.
