UCSF Health Sustainability is governed by the UC Office of the President Sustainability Steering Committee and the UCSF Advisory Committee on Sustainability. We participate in many sustainability working groups across UCSF Health and the UC Health system.
We are responsible for educating UCSF Health employees on sustainability initiatives and managing projects in collaboration with other departments. Our sustainability areas of focus include climate, energy, food, green building, greening the OR, procurement, transportation, waste, and water.
