The UCSF Climate Resilience Plan provides an overview of UCSF’s efforts to anticipate, prepare for, and respond to the impacts of climate change on its people, assets, and services.
The key climate hazards studied include extreme heat, drought, wildfire, wildfire smoke, rainstorm and flooding, and coastal flooding. Through extensive stakeholder engagement, UCSF conducted a climate impact assessment to determine key vulnerabilities, established resilience goals and objectives, and identified actions across five focus areas.
An accompanying Implementation Framework identifies lead departments, priorities, and timelines to guide implementation.
