What does this App Privacy Policy Cover?
This Policy covers how UCSF collects, uses, and shares data for the UCSF Mobile App.
Collection of Data
Non-personally identifiable information. This app may collect, at least temporarily, non-personally identifiable information such as: device manufacturer, device type, device ID, operating system, OS version, browser type used, date and time, country, personas and screens, and other navigational traffic data.
Personally identifiable information. This app does not collect personally identifiable information.
Use of Data
Collection of data assists us in troubleshooting issues and in improving the overall quality of the app. We use data to improve application functionality, improve content, measure and improve website/application performance, and answer specific questions about the usage and performance of the app.
We may use data to provide geo-specific triggering for the purposes of distributing point-of-interest information, indoor positioning, and approximate locations of other enabled devices.
The app may partner with third parties, including Google (Google Analytics), and other storage technologies, to collect or receive information from this app and elsewhere on the Internet and use that information as part of targeted advertising or remarketing. These companies collect information from across the Internet and are not controlled or managed by UCSF. You can opt out of having your browsing data collected by these companies by managing your ads preferences or privacy settings on these companies’ websites.
