We get it.
No two families are alike in their needs for care, so UC/UCSF has partnered with leading providers to create a menu that will cater to a variety of care needs—from on-going or temporary adult/child care to pet-sitting, tutoring services, and more. We strongly recommend that everyone first check their eligibility for services, as eligibility for one type of family care benefit does not ensure eligibility for all services.
Sittercity, a Bright Horizons service
The market leader in the online sitter space, Sittercity provides pre-screened resources for in-home every day or occasional child care, pet care, elder care, housesitting, housekeeping, tutoring, and more.
Join half a million Sittercity users across the U.S., including the more than 800 registered UCSF faculty, staff and student families and find your next caregiver today.
UC/UCSF pays for web subscription access to Sittercity resources for eligible faculty, staff, and learners (a $180 value). Web access allows you to browse caregiver profiles and reviews, run unlimited free basic background checks (a $20 value), post jobs, and more. However, all individuals are fully responsible for paying for the care they use through Sittercity.
Note: If you are faculty or staff, be sure that you qualify for this benefit by first visiting UCnet. If eligible, you can register at Sittercity by using your 8-digit UCPath number. Eligibility for one service does not automatically ensure eligibility for every family program or service.
