Sittercity (fix link) is a web resource that can be utilized to search for nannies or babysitters. UCSF students who are interested in being part of the child care workforce can sign up for free at Sittercity.
UCSF Child Care Bulletin Board

Nanny Placement Services
UCSF families have discounted access to a local nanny agency’s high-touch support. Get help with recruiting, vetting, and selecting a nanny; learn more here (fix link).
Back-Up Care
UCSF’s back-up care program provides eligible employees (faculty, residents and clinical fellows) with 20 days of care per academic year (co-payments apply). Students receive 10 days/academic year. UCSF has joined UC Berkeley’s CareBubbles platform, which is a parent-to-parent resource to help UC Berkeley, UCSF, UC Davis and UC Santa Cruz community members meet their child care needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Find other families on both sides of the Bay (and other parts of Northern California) looking to trade childcare, share tutors, create bubbles, and more.
