Employee performance is being evaluated for the period of January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025. Both Policy Covered (Non-Represented, PPSM, etc.) staff and Represented staff will follow the same PE process using the UCSF Staff Performance Evaluation portal
Critical Dates
- January 5, 2026: PEs open for (optional) Employee Self-Assessments
- January 26, 2025 (evening): (Optional) Employee Self-Assessments are 'due' i.e. roll over for supervisors to view. Supervisors start filling out PEs.*
- March 6, 2026: (Internal CLS deadline) Employee & supervisor meetings must be completed and PE must be signed off by both parties
- March 13, 2026: PE Portal Deadline to submit performance evaluations
- March 15, 2026 (Sunday): HR Deadline to submit performance evaluations
*While employees are completing optional Self-Assessments (the initial step), supervisors may start drafting PEs for their employees; sample forms for both are linked to below. Please note that staff may choose to skip the optional Individual Development Plan (IDP) and instead fill out a Career Development Plan (CDP).
Accessing the PE electronic system
There are three ways to access the PE electronic system:
- via the link in the invitation sent to your UCSF email address
- by visiting https://peportal.ucsf.edu
- via the "Staff Performance Evaluation" quick link in MyAccess. MyAccess login is required.
