Our Mission is to enrich employees, faculty, and learners through creative arts, performances, and social events that highlight diversity, foster social wellness, and celebrate the UCSF Community!
The Team
Jamie DeAraujo, Events & Engagement Coordinator
A San Francisco native, Jamie started her professional career in events at her alma mater San Francisco Day School. There she handled all Advancement events to support the mission and fundraising of the school. Simultaneously for fun she worked (and continues to work) with Alicia K Designs on corporate events. She previously held the Meeting and Event Coordinator job at UCSF supporting the Communications and Community and Government Relations departments during the height of the pandemic. Prior to her return, she held the role of Associate Director of Special Events/Interim Director of Events at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (the de Young and the Legion of Honor).
She is excited to be back at UCSF to help facilitate more in-person events that celebrate UCSF employees. When not working, you will find Jamie hanging with her family, playing soccer, feasting on a delicious meal, or dancing the night away at a silent disco in Golden Gate Park.
