654 Minnesota Rooftop Refurbishment

The Facilities team brought the 654 Minnesota (MN) rooftop to life with comfy patio furniture and an array of bright plants including Cosmos flowers and potted succulents. The project was nominated by Cristina Morrison, Assistant Director of Operations for Real Estate, who expressed her appreciation for how nicely the project turned out. "Considering the lovely weather at Mission Bay, access to the rooftop deck with the new furniture, a fresh paint job, and deep cleaning promotes access to sunshine and fresh air for our colleagues who work at 654 MN. The First Impressions contest provided a lovely space for our staff to enjoy the deck, and we are so grateful," Morrison said.

Health Sciences West Lecture Hall Hallway Revamp

With new furniture and benches, the space now offers a warm and inviting environment where the UCSF community can gather and connect before and after lectures. A big thank you to Igor Mitrovic, vice dean and professor of Physiology, for submitting this entry to the Facilities First Impressions Contest.
