The Transportation Department offers valet parking for patients at all of our San Francisco campuses. Valet parking is available Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm. You can find more information about our valet parking program below.
*There is no additional cost for valet parking. Self-park and valet parking both cost the standard hourly parking rate.
How to Use Valet Parking
- Drive up to a valet station and a valet team member will greet you.
- The valet staff will request your car keys and a cell phone number.
- You will receive a text with your digital ticket (physical tickets are available upon request).
- Once you are ready to retrieve your vehicle, open the text message and select “Request vehicle.”
- The valet team will retrieve your vehicle and meet you at the valet drop-off location.
- Parking fee will be collected based on your length of stay and your vehicle keys will be returned.

- How can a patient or caregiver retrieve their vehicle if their appointment ends after 4:00pm?
There is a specific after-hours process at each of our valet locations that will be communicated to patients when they drop-off their vehicle with the valet team. - How do patients access the Disabled/ADA rate with the valet service?
Patients can show their Disabled Person Parking Placard to the valet upon arrival to access the Disabled/ADA rate. - Can patients use the valet service if their appointment is not at one of the locations listed above?
Yes. Patients can use the valet parking service even if their appointment is not at one of the specific locations listed above. - Do the valet attendants accept tips?
UC policy prohibits UCSF employees from accepting tips.
