What do you really do at UCSF?
I’m the driver for the campus, for the patients, doctors, and staff. I get them to their destinations safely, and always try my best to make sure they’re on time. I also give good customer service.
How long have you worked at UCSF?
It will be six years in December.
What made you come to UCSF?
My son’s grandma used to work for UCSF Transportation. She worked there for 13 years.
What is your favorite part of the job?
Being able to provide transportation to staff, faculty, and students. I also enjoy talking to them and building relationships with them.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out at UCSF Transportation?
It is a great place to work, especially being able to help others in the health field. We also have weekends off!

Where did you grow up?
San Francisco, born and raised!
What do you do for yourself when you're not working?
Be with my family, try to give myself self-care.
What’s your favorite self-care practice?
I like relaxing in a quiet environment, away from others.
Anything else you'd like your colleagues to know about you?
I like to go out to different events. I love to be out in nature. I also like going to the Farmer’s Market at the Ferry Building on Saturdays.
