I’ve been a parking lead for 18 years.
What does a typical day look like for you?
I ensure smooth parking operations and customer service. I also supervise parking staff, and ensure parking regulations are being properly enforced.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy effectively delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and providing constructive feedback.
Can you share a memorable moment or story from your time at UCSF?
Anytime a patron expresses their gratitude.
What’s one thing people might not realize about your role?
I also help maintain order and ensure fair access to parking resources.
What motivates you to show up and do your best each day?
My life, my family, and I really enjoy work.
How do you relax or recharge outside of work?
Spending time with my family helps me relax.
