Bike to Wherever Month and Bike to Work Day encourage novice bikers to get on the road and celebrate veteran bikers for miles ridden up, down, and around.
Biking to work is a wonderful way to start and end your day. On the way to work, it allows you to plan and prepare for the day ahead, on the way home it's an opportunity to reflect and release energy. Although we have facilities and resources conducive to biking as a means of commuting, biking should be enjoyed however you want to. Bike to the store, farmers market, to child care, to pick up your favorite afternoon tea, and just for fun.
