Lotus Corner Market, a new neighborhood grocery market and café serving San Francisco’s Dogpatch and Mission Bay communities, will open its doors this fall at 602 Minnesota Street, on the ground floor of UCSF’s The Tidelands housing community.
A soft opening is planned for October 2026, giving neighbors, UCSF community members and visitors an opportunity to experience the new market ahead of a grand opening celebration on Wednesday, January 27, 2027. Additional details about grand opening activities will be announced soon.
Lotus Corner Market is designed to be a convenient, welcoming neighborhood destination where customers can pick up everyday groceries, fresh foods and pantry essentials while also enjoying prepared meals and café offerings.
The market will feature fresh and affordable groceries alongside a selection of Indian foods and specialty products. Café offerings will span the day, including coffee and chai, breakfast items, bowls, salads and Indian-inspired comfort foods. The market will also offer convenient online ordering and delivery options.
The opening builds on the Lotus family's decades of experience serving Bay Area communities through its restaurant and grocery businesses. The new Dogpatch location brings that community-focused approach to a growing neighborhood that includes residents, families, UCSF faculty, staff and students, health care workers, nearby businesses and visitors.
Located at the intersection of Dogpatch and Mission Bay, Lotus Corner Market will help provide convenient access to groceries, prepared foods and everyday necessities while creating a new gathering place for the surrounding community.
