UC San Francisco’s first child care facility, the Marilyn Reed Lucia Child Care Study Center was reopened in 2011 as a dedicated infant/toddler center serving children ranging from 2 months-24 months old. Conveniently located across the street from Millberry Union at UCSF’s Parnassus Campus in San Francisco and operated by Bright Horizons Family Solutions, the center was named for one of the first champions of child care at UCSF, clinical psychiatry professor Marilyn Reed Lucia MD.
Two (TuTh), three (MWF) and five full days a week program schedules are available. The MRL Center provides a rich variety of learning, exploration and play activities in a supportive and nurturing environment specific to infant/toddler needs.
