A year after its opening, UCSF’s housing program at Academe at 198 continues to grow and offer new options. Owned and managed by UC College of the Law, San Francisco and located within the heart of their campus at 198 McAllister Street in Civic Center, this 14-story academic and residential community offers up to 230 efficiency, studio, and 1-bedroom style apartments to UCSF affiliates. Along with great amenities including a lobby café, community lounges with skyline views, study rooms, Academe at 198 has entertainment spaces, a fitness center, secure bike storage, and a dog run. UCSF students, trainees, faculty, and staff are all eligible to apply and join a community that is also home to UC Law students and graduate students from academic institutions across the Bay Area.
