We are currently reviewing and proposing revisions to the policy on lactation accommodations—PPSM-84 (Accommodations for Nursing Mothers). This policy impacts staff members across all levels, including Professional & Support Staff, Managers & Senior Professionals, and the Senior Management Group.

The updated draft of PPSM-84 includes technical and clarifying edits designed to ensure compliance with legal requirements. In line with California’s Lactation Accommodation Law (Senate Bill 142), the Pump for Nursing Mothers Act ("PUMP Act"), and the Pregnancy Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), these revisions aim to align our practices with state and federal regulations while striving for the highest standards.
