Jeimy Loyola's career journey stands as a compelling narrative of big dreams, dedication, and the impact of her daughters’ love. As a Facilities Jr. Project Manager, Loyola’s journey is not only marked by her professional accomplishments but also by the inspiration she derives from her family, particularly her two daughters.
Facing the challenges of adapting to a new country, Loyola moved to the United States and started college at age 17, "when I came here, I knew no English. I really started from zero, learning how to have a conversation, learning a different culture from my country."
The birth of her first daughter prompted Loyola's to temporarily pause her studies and work as she dedicated herself to caring for her children. This phase, while challenging, became a crucial chapter in her journey, reinforcing her commitment to her dreams. Loyola's philosophy centers around consistent practice and hard work.
She firmly states, "I wanted to be something here, and I don’t want to stay where I started."
Loyola's daughters serve as her source of support and motivation, particularly during moments of fatigue and doubt. "Every time I'm tired and I feel like, 'Is this enough?' I always go to them." Their love and encouragement echoes in her ears, reminding Jeimy of the progress she's made and urging her to take a moment to appreciate her achievements before forging ahead.

Progressing through roles, Loyola became a Quality Analyst in the Facilities Customer Service and Support Center (CSSC), where her prior custodial experience proved invaluable.
Loyola's efforts paid off when she secured a position as a Project Support member in the Facilities Renewal and Project Delivery team. She has since climbed the ranks to her current role as a Junior Project Manager. In this capacity, Loyola oversees tenant improvement projects, coordinating with diverse units to ensure project success.
For her next big goal, Loyola aspires to become a Senior Project Manager. Taking the time to listen, learn, and implement insights from her team, she emphasizes the importance of humility in her professional journey.
"Be persistent with your goals. And always be humble” is a mantra that Loyola is guided by in the workplace.
