Six years ago, Wendy Rager, UCOP Cyber-risk Coordination Center (C3) Manager, and Tracey Long, Senior Project Manager for Print and Design at The Studio at UCSF joined forces to enhance the UC Cyber Risk Program Annual Report's production process.
As project manager, Tracey is responsible for hiring the team, managing purchase orders, invoicing, generating quotes, tracking budgets, and maintaining the project database and archives. Tracey enlisted The Studio designer, Ellen Sherrod, to contribute to the project. The result was a stunning report that showcased cybersecurity initiatives and stories across UC.
Over the years, this collaboration has only improved, producing even more impressive reports.
The Benefits of Collaboration
The partnership between The Studio at Documents and Media and the Cyber-risk Coordination Center is a mutually beneficial arrangement for both UC departments. This collaboration ensures that funds remain within the UC system, while Documents and Media can utilize the internal recharge billing process for both UC San Francisco customers and other UC clients.
This means that clients like C3 can avoid the hassle of going out for bids or creating scope of work documents, and they can be confident that they are working with experts who adhere to UC brand guidelines
