UCSF Financial and Administrative Services (FAS) hosted its annual Leadership Retreat, with this year's theme centered on Artificial Intelligence. "We wanted to give participants something fun and memorable that tied into the theme — but also something cost-effective and easy to distribute," said Cristina Morrison, Director of Policy and Administrative Services at FAS. Around the time of the event, CLS Documents and Media (DM) increased on-campus advertisement of its brand-new sticker service. The ads sparked the idea to give away stickers!
We sat down with Morrison to keep the scoop on the process.
How was your experience working with Documents & Media to bring your design to life?
Our team already had the artwork ready to go, and DM made the rest of the process seamless. Their team was responsive, professional, and quick to deliver. We really appreciated the convenience of being able to pick up the finished stickers from a locker at a time that worked best for us. It was a smooth, stress-free experience from start to finish.
What did you think when you first saw the finished stickers?
We were thrilled! The stickers came out even better than we imagined — bright, high-quality, and full of personality. They were so cute that we couldn’t wait to open the box and start sharing them. Another bonus is how compact and lightweight they are, which makes them easy to pack and take to different events throughout the year.
How are people responding to them so far?
The response has been overwhelmingly positive! We created three different sticker designs, and the robot-themed one that says “Beep Boop, Bestie” quickly became a fan favorite. It was such a hit that we had them reprinted for our most recent Town Hall.
We even expanded our collection to include new robot designs and special stickers featuring Nash, our K9 outreach dog, which we hand out during his visits to schools and hospitals. People love them — they’re a fun, approachable way to connect with our community.
