As UCSF Transportation looked for creative ways to make commute options feel more engaging, the team turned to CLS Documents and Media to bring a fun idea to life. From concept to final product, DM partnered closely with Transportation to produce vibrant, eye-catching stickers — all printed in-house.
We caught up with the Vicki Sundstrom, strategic planning manager, to talk about the collaboration, the final designs, and the response so far.

How was your experience working with Documents & Media to bring your design to life?
Working with Documents and Media was seamless from start to finish. I had an idea for what we needed, and the team made it happen. They really helped bring a fun idea to life — which was important since the goal was to make commute options feel engaging and accessible. It was especially exciting to realize we could produce high-quality stickers in-house.

What did you think when you first saw the finished stickers?
I was genuinely ecstatic. The stickers looked fantastic — crisp, vibrant, and playful. The artwork was fun without losing clarity, which made the messaging feel inviting rather than informational or heavy. Stickers are all the rage right now, and seeing ours come to life was incredibly satisfying.
How are people responding to them so far?
The response has been very positive. People are immediately drawn to the designs and options.
Would you recommend Documents and Media to other UCSF teams looking to print materials — and why?
Absolutely! I would highly recommend Documents and Media to other UCSF teams. Having the ability to produce high-quality, creative materials in-house is a huge asset. The team makes the process easy, delivers excellent results, and helps turn ideas into polished, fun results.
